Welcome to Our Summer Camp Community!

At our specialized Social Skills Summer Camp, we've created a space where teens with autism, Down syndrome, and other special needs aren't just included—they're celebrated. As a speech pathologist with extensive experience working with teens with special needs, I understand the challenges these children face when trying to navigate a world that wasn't designed with them in mind.

This camp isn't just another summer activity—it's a transformative experience where your teen will:

  • Build lasting friendships with peers who truly understand them

  • Develop practical social skills through fun, engaging activities

  • Gain confidence in a supportive, judgment-free environment

  • Feel like they truly belong

  • Application Process:

UpSocial is specifically designed for teens with special needs who can benefit from targeted social skills instruction. To ensure the program is a good fit for all participants, we follow this process:

Initial Application: Parents/guardians complete a detailed application about their teen's needs, current social skills, and goals

Professional Review: Our speech pathologist reviews each application to determine if the program is appropriate for the teen's specific needs

Acceptance & Registration: Once accepted, families complete registration and payment to secure their spot

Orientation Materials: Accepted participants receive welcome information and preparation materials
